The Wellington Cochlear Implant Users and Parents Get Together (4-7pm Saturday 16th March) is fast approaching. We have an exciting line up of speakers.

The main speaker is Talor Gilmer (picture above). Talor is a second year commerce student and a keen sportsman. He will be representing New Zealand at the 2013 Deaflympics in athletics. Talor has had hearing loss all his life. In October 2011 he received a MED-EL implant in his right ear. Come hear his story and how his Cochlear Implant has impacted his life.

We will also be having presentations from both MED-EL and Cochlear who will provide updates on their company’s products and be available to talk with people.
